WWE Killed off the cruiserweights division because of what?

Ive been questioning this for a few days now. If you're marketing your product towards a younger generation of fans, wouldnt they find high flyers entertaining? I understand there are risks involved with high flyers, but WWE rarely pushes them to the moon so an injury wouldnt nessecerily impact the companies ratings in a major way.

i don't know, i think maineventers like heavyweight champs, and stuff are more marketable, everyone wants to see the big guys, and the smaller guys that can beat the big guys fight it out.
