Old ECW or WWECW

Which is better in your opinion. Old ECW or WWECW?

Old ECW. It had a better feel, better matches, less nonsense, and great talent. WWECW has some good talent, for instance CM Punk, Matt Striker, RVD, etc., however the ones getting the main event push are your Tests, Lashley's, and Holly's, which is a shame and a waste in my opinion.

Take an event like D2D 2006, and compare it to something like November to Remember 1996, and you have a clear difference in quality. N2R provided you with classic matches, such as RVD & Sabu vs. The Eliminators, while D2D offers you a squash between Tommy Dreamer and Daivari.

Old ECW > WWECW.

Old ECW was better. WWECW doesnt have extreme rules matches, and isnt treated as a proper brand like SD and Raw. Its treated more as a development territory where people who arnt working on the major brands are sent. the wrong people get pushes and some of the finishes in their title matches have been shocking

old ecw, regardless of the quality of some of its matches, was exciting, innovative and original. if there had never been an ecw, pro wrestling today would look much different.

wwecw is only carries the name to take advantage of previous brand recognition. its a relatively lame product, essentially a development fed for guys wwe doesnt think can get over on the 2 real shows.

no real comparaison....

It is the old ECW without a doubt. I agree with what you guys are saying ECW helped wrestling to what it is today. That is why it was so good it was something different. It was an alternative to what the WWE and WCW were doing
