New ECW World Champ

At a House show recently Marcus Cor Von def. John Morrison for the ECW World Championship people are saying that the ref. made a mistake and it probably won't count but Marcus cor Von is New ECW World Champion

Well, ECW didn't have a house show today & Morrison was on ECW last night with the title so Cor Von isn't the champion if this incident even took place.

Yeah if WWE hasn't tlaked about it yet then it hasn't happened officially. Let's not forget thought hat one time WWE posted that Mickie had beaten Melina at house hsow, but then lost the title the same day to Melina. Another ref mistkae, so you never know.

^^^But WWE did acknowledge the title change on their website. We haven't heard them say anything about this & I haven't read anything about this on a house show report so I guessing it "never happened." do you have any solid sources of it happening

ok if it happend at a house show it dosent Really Matter because its not on live TV. however they do sometimes acnoledge this type of thing on air but not usually.

Generally theyll do this type of thing at a house show to see how the fans will react to a certain wrestler as Champ. thats prolly all it was.

ill give you an example prior to makeing his Nitro Debut Gold Ber Lost Several matches at house shows To Hugh Morrus Fit Finley and Lord Steven Regal to Name A Few.

but when he got his First TV Match the Streak Started.

and after Winning The WCW world title while Sting (WolfPac) was getting ready to return to action after an injury they gave him a match with Goldberg for The WCW world title to see how his recovery was coming along and Goldberg tapped to the Scorpion Death lock. there for Sting one The Title for that night only.

Several Months Later at Starcade 1998 Nash ended the Streak and Became The New WCW world Champ.
