Cena vs Orton: Still plans for it?

I'm a little late posting this, but never mind.

This past Monday on Raw, these two had their second televised match against each other, the other being, on the Eddie Guerrero Tribute show.

And as like then, there was a no finish.

I admit, when Cena dropped Orton from the FU position, I predicted a count out, or a no finish, then when the STFU was locked in, I truley believed Orton was to tap out, as others have previously, it didn't happen, why?

Well I think, despite WWE's feelings towards Orton right now, they still do see him as the future, as do I, so I think that is why they are putting off (one on one) finishes between the two for now, thus saving it for another time in the future.

I think this could be a good fued, good matches and will draw good money and I don't think I'd be wrong in saying WWE feel the same way.

They've teased these two going on for the longest time. I remember back at SummerSlam '04 when Cena busted Orton's interview & the Eddie Tribute Show (it's on WWE 24/7 this month). It would be something interesting for me because it's fresh & something I haven't seen yet but I wouldn't want it for the WWE title since the result would be highly predictable.

It's definetly been a feud in the making as you've said, with them having digs at each other for a long time now.

Even though Orton's in the doghouse, I can't see how WWE can't see that Orton is the future of the business. If he got his act together, he could easily go on to be a multi-time WWE Champion or WHC. It's up to him on that one though.

I'd like to see it happen, I think it will happen soon enough, but whether it will be a WWE Championship feud is up to Orton I think.

I really hope this happens. I am not saying that Orton's behaviour isn't a problem, but at the end of the day if he is a real asset to the company, who could be a real star in the business, then this should not effect his push.

They've given him a few defeats. He was pinned in the Backlash main event and he was beaten clean by Edge on Raw the other week, and it is rare for Edge to win a clean match. Hopefully that is the end of the matter and Orton can soon have a feud with Cena for the title. I don't think it will happen for a while because first Cena has to deal with Khali and then I can see the Shawn Michaels feud continuing.

I think Orton vs Cena would be a hell of a feud. I am a real admirer of Randy Orton and his abilities, and think he could be a great WWE champion sometime in the not so distant future. He should be top heel on the brand, as he is already a very credible main eventer, and since Edge's departure there is a shortage of main event talent on the brand.

Hopefully we will get to see Cena vs Orton

yea, i wouldn't mind seeing this feud. Hopefully Orton can get propelled to the main event scene and imo if its played right, it can turn into a major feud in WWE history.
